Shuff Hall was physics master and House Master of Foundation.  He confiscated a 6 pack of beer that had been mailed to me.  Never paid me or returned it!

Callum Darbyshire (pupil and 1st XV scrum half).

Piff Williams, English Master and used to live on Londsdale Terrace.

Bill Fox was not a Master and not on the staff as far as I know. He was a Major and worked with the CCF.

Algy Lyle was the maths Master.

I had written names against each.  Real names where I remember in brackets.

The banner is for the Wooden Hall Cancer Relief Fund.  I have  note ‘Total collection this week was 10/4 1/4.
The 10/- from the HM, the 1/4d in the mud and 4d by fist.

The Master’s team in in the background, the one at the back with white (silver) hair is I believe Lem (Parkinson – classics and House Master of Grindal.
